I don’t know about you, reader but I LOVE Bacon and Beer and
could not be more excited for this first ever
event brought to Seattle by Cannonball Productions. The Bacon and Beer classic will be held in
two sessions at Safeco Field May 17th. If the name of this event alone hasn’t
convinced you to buy your tickets right now, continue reading the details below!
Seattle might be the perfect location for this event and
it’s certainly the perfect week, it is Seattle Beer Week after all! The two sessions on Saturday, four hours each
starting at 12 and 6pm, will feature over 50 chefs creating bacon inspired
tastes and over 100 beers available in three ounce tastes. In addition to the imbibing the event
planners have lined up free food demos, beer schools, activities and local
bands to provide a soundtrack to the day.
Come rain or shine this event should prove to be a blast for all in
attendance.
While there are two levels of tickets, both will get you all-inclusive access to the event; the general admission
tickets start at $59 and the VIP tickets start at $99. The VIP tickets will get baseball lovers a
private tour of the stadium, access to an exclusive lounge with private
restrooms, light fare and rare American craft beer; yes please!
Breweries attending include area favorites like Georgetown,
Elysian, Fremont, and Pike brewing and this former San Diego girl’s personal
favorites of Stone and Ballast Point including many others from around the
country. Important to note the breweries will have their own people pouring the beer and available for answering questions during this event! Area restaurants appear equally
excited with local favorites like Pike Place Chowder, Theo Chocolate, Ladro and
the perfectly paired Lecosho (their logo is the noble pig) partaking in the
day’s festivities. You can find a whole
list of participants here http://www.baconandbeerclassic.com/#!about/cdh9.
Still unconvinced?
This is the inaugural event for the Bacon and Beer Classic and it’s starting
