It is true that small wineries only have simple machinery to help with the production. Good thing that there are alternatives like the mobile bottling truck. But I think investing or upgrading the machinery can be a good move rather than spending on rent every time there is a large scale production. If the cost of buying or upgrading the machine is reasonable than renting the mobile truck every time, then owning your own high-tech machine can save money for the business. And surely, it can be a big boost to small wineries to be known in the industry, as it helps increase productivity.Rob Fecklerhttp://www.fillingequipment.com/rotary-water-filling-machine.htmlnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4344420550768380398.post-62131077957163279172011-04-11T19:00:09.967-07:002011-04-11T19:00:09.967-07:00How fantastic! Thanks for sharing your experience....How fantastic! Thanks for sharing your experience. Totem is one of my FAVORITE wineries in the area. I'm always impressed by their wines and the labels are beautiful. Next time I open a bottle (I reccently purchased a bottle of the Salish that I'm excited to try) I will think of this post!Steviehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12153149217472000710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4344420550768380398.post-13243150968283355192011-04-11T10:17:35.066-07:002011-04-11T10:17:35.066-07:00Great article, Taryn! Helping the smaller winerie...Great article, Taryn! Helping the smaller wineries definitely gives you a better understanding of the amount of work involved in producing each bottle of wine. Most of these small producers couldn’t get by without the help of their volunteers when they have production work. As you mentioned, when you’re on the bottling line everyone learns to work together quickly – once things get rolling you want to carry your weight so you don’t let down your fellow volunteers. Ultimately, your “pay” for this day of your time and labor is leaving with a fun experience, a few new friends and an even greater appreciation of the next bottle of wine you drink!Janis Taylornoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4344420550768380398.post-41425203665935073312011-04-11T10:13:08.231-07:002011-04-11T10:13:08.231-07:00It was great to work the line with you!
